Located on the Brussels-Namur road, Gembloux is a French-speaking town in the Province of Namur. The municipality of Gembloux has 25,800 inhabitants. The buildings of the former Benedictine abbey are now occupied by the Agro-bio Technology section of the University of Liege. On the folklore side, we can mention the 6h brouette, organised by the University's student committee. The town of Gembloux is twinned with the town of Epinal in France.
