Durbuy, often called the " smallest town in the world ", is located in the Province of Luxembourg. With 11,500 inhabitants on the territory of the municipality, Durbuy is not really the smallest town in the world, even if the old town has only 400 inhabitants. The charm of its small streets is very exotic for many tourists, and the Durbuy-Barvaux area has become the first tourist destination in Wallonia. This success is linked to the natural and cultural heritage of one of the villages of the commune of Durbuy, to the beauty of the landscape as well as to a reception infrastructure adapted in size. In the old town, you can discover the castle of Durbuy, the Saint-Nicolas church, the "Halle aux Blés", the Topiaires park, as well as the local craft beer. Some attractions around Durbuy also attract a lot of tourists in the summer: the Barvaux maze, a huge themed corn maze, La Petite Merveille, an adventure park in the trees, and the Durbuy golf course. The town of Durbuy is part of the Geopark Famenne-Ardenne, a geological area labelled by Unesco in 2018.
