The making of the screed is a technical step linked to the structural work. It completes the foundations. The role of the screed, which is only made on a concrete slab, is to level and smooth the support. The electrical sheaths, cables and underfloor heating pipes are integrated into it. The operation requires rigour, which is why we strongly advise you to call on a company specialising in screed construction.
Huy is a French-speaking town located in the Province of Liege, at the confluence of the Hoyoux with the Meuse, halfway between Namur and Liege. The town of Huy has 21,500 inhabitants. Due to its location as a stopover town for the inland waterways, the town of Huy grew up in a favourable economic climate and was home to numerous trades. The most powerful trade was that of goldsmiths. The castle built on a hill overlooking the Meuse was gradually transformed into a fortress. The people of Huy now call it the "Fort of Huy" and it is the pride of the inhabitants. Of the "four wonders" of the city of Huy, only two still exist today: Li Bassinia, a fountain whose oldest part dates from the 15th century. Li Rondia, the rose window of the collegiate church of Notre-Dame, with a diameter of 9 metres. The other two wonders were Li Tchestia, the castle of the prince-bishops destroyed in the 18th century, and Li Pontia, the old bridge of the city, destroyed by the war and replaced today by the Baudouin bridge.
