Tubize is a French-speaking town located in the Province of Brabant Wallon. The population of the municipality of Tubize is 25 900 inhabitants. Tubize is the fastest growing city in Belgium, and the population could increase significantly over the next 30 years. Until the end of the 20th century, the municipality of Tubize was an important iron and steel centre, with the forges of Clabecq.
